THE ANDREA GAIL, departed Gloucester Harbour, MA, Sept. 20, 1991 with six crewmembers on board. They intended to fish for swordfish in the area of the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, Canada. The vessel began its return to Gloucester, MA. Oct. 26-27. Oct. 30, 1991, the vessel was reported overdue. An extensive air and sea search was conducted over U.S. and Canadian Cape Cod, MA. The search did not locate the vessel or any of the crewmembers. All remain missing and presumed lost at sea in a major storm, referred to as the “Perfect Storm”, made famous by author Sebastian Junger.  Length 28.6", Height 21.8", Beam 8.3", Scale 1:30. . .

St. ROCH Built in the Burrard Dry Dock, North Vancouver, 1928. THE OSEBERG . . . was found in Norway at Oseberg in Vestfold in 1903, resting on a bed of blue clay and covered with turf and stones. The Oseberg was built in the last half of the 800's and was buried roughly 50 years later. The ship is some 50 to 100 years older than similar vessels which have been found.  MRB 20 "EMILE ROBIN" was delivered from the North Sea Shipyard in Ringkøbing, Denmark in 1989. The lifeboat was named after the Parisian merchant Emile Robin, a philanthropist, cognac manufacturer and vice-president of the French charity Society for the Salvation of Shipwrecks. Emile Robin is one of the most important benefactors in the 150 year history of the Danish Lifeboat Service. MRB 20 "Emile Robin" is permanently stationed at the lifeboat station in Hvide Sande, on the western coast of Denmark. Cabin is laser cut plywood, hull is plastic.  Easily adapted to RC.
